Wanted to share a new technique that I’m really loving at the moment! Watercolor hand lettering. 🙂
It combines some of my favorites – the medium of water color vs. paint, and brush lettering. I’m still perfecting doing other subjects other than flowers and words, but practice makes perfect, right?
In the meantime, I’m loving the way watercolor wording shines on hand lettered projects, whether it’s for envelopes or just prints you can hang in your home.
This little paper source color guide is a serious lifesaver to help decide what color envelopes you’re looking for for your next event! If you’re one of those people that’s super particular about colors, like me, then get yourself one of these babies – Paper Source Color Guide $12
If you’re looking to do save the dates or wedding invitation envelopes and love the way the brush lettering or watercolor looks just as much as I do, send me a message and we can chat about what will work for you!
This is just a quick sneak peek at how beautiful Mr. & Mrs. looks in watercolor hand lettering – nice and flowy. 🙂 You know you wantttttt it.
Hand lettered details for menu’s are also a great additive to an event. Truthfully I started writing out the menu but then thought it would be cuter if I digitized the main headings and used a print font for the actual food items.
These type of menus look beautiful on wood as well. Which can of course be done with white – check out some inspiration photos from a recent post.
I absolutely love this palette because there are so many color options. Because I’m creative and can’t help myself, I gave them all names. Figured it’s easier to identify them other than saying third from the left. LOL
